1. Navigate to Products
Click on the Settings Cog (next to your name).
Select “Products” from the menu.
2. Start a New Product
At the top of the Products page, click the green “New Product” button.
This will open a page listing all available products. If yours isn’t there, you can create it.
If it is similar to an existing product on the system, you can use the "Clone this Product" and make the changes to question sets and rename it.
3. Create the Product
Click “Select” on Blank Product.
On the "Create new product" menu add the Name & Description of the product and choose the correct Product Type.
Click “Create” to generate your new product.
You’ll now be taken to the Product Screen, which includes:
Configuration
Insurer Panel
Risk Capture & RFQ
Options to clone the product or add a Standard Quote/Policy Reference
You can change the Product Type later if needed.
4. Configure the Product
Available Coverage
Select the covers you want from the list.
The cover will move from Available Options to Included in this Product
You can mark a cover as:
Compulsory/Core – required and automatically included in quotes.
Optional – can be selected as needed.
Missing a cover? Email us at [email protected] and we can add it.
Demands & Needs
These will automatically populate based on selected covers, written in plain English.
To edit, simply click into the text box and make your changes.
Limit Options
Click “+ Add Library Limit to Product” to open a sidebar of available limits.
Find the limit you want, then click the green “+ Add” button to apply it.
You can create new limits by clicking the "Create New Limit Library Limit" button. This will open a new widow and ask for the limit details. If the Limit Option you are added relates to an asset (a vehicle or property for example), make sure you select the appropriate toggle - this will mean the Limit Option question will be repeated for each property/vehicle etc when working through a proposal.
Excess Options
Add excesses the same way as limits, but without a library.
Enter the excess name (e.g., Flood, A/D).
Apply it to all or specific coverages.
Choose the type (monetary or time-based).
Use “Add Option” to set values.
Mark one as Default, then click Save.
Standard Documents
Upload any specific documents to that product that will need to go with any proposal
5. Add Insurer Details
Insurance Providers
Click “+ Insurer"
A pop-up will appear - select the Insurer from the dropdown.
Can’t find the provider? Contact: [email protected]
After adding an insuer, the Insurer Panel view will show you all the relevant information relating to each insurer for this product.
Add Contact information, relevant documents, default commissions (if known).
Once you've added multiple insurers, you can mark an insurer as a preferred market.
Insurer Risk Appetite & Endorsements
These depend on Fact Find answers and must be set up after the question set is created.
6. Set Up Risk Capture & RFQ (Fact Find)
This is where you build the Fact Find Form (question set).
Start by creating Sections
Then, add individual Questions within each section
You can:
Use existing questions from the library
Or create new ones from scratch
Note: If you add questions from the library that are also included on other products these questions will all be linked. If you edit a question on one product, it will be updated across all products containing that question. This saves significant time when an insuer updates their question sets.
7. Make the Product Active
Once your product setup is complete:
Go back to the main Product page
Toggle the switch “Product Active” to ON
Click “Save Settings”
Your product is now live and ready to use!
