Keeping your clients informed about upcoming policy renewals is key to great service, but remembering to manually send reminders can be a challenge.
BrokerCentral’s Automatic Renewal Reminders do the hard work for you by sending an email notification to the client as soon as their policy enters the renewal window.
All you have to do is switch it on!
Where to Set This Up
To enable automatic renewal emails, head to:
Configuration > Settings > Renewal Settings
This opens a screen where you can manage how and when renewal reminders are sent.
What Gets Sent
You’ll see a preview of the renewal reminder email that will be automatically sent to clients. This includes:
A message letting them know their policy is due for renewal
Who the message is coming from
Any configured renewal timing (e.g. how many days in advance)
The system sends this at the same time as the renewal task appears in your task list-and both are recorded in the client’s Timeline.
How to Turn It On or Off
At the top of the page, you’ll see a toggle switch:
🟣 Purple = Feature is ON
⚪ Grey = Feature is OFF
Make sure it's purple to enable automatic reminders.
Who the Email Comes From
The reminder email will be sent from the assigned Account Handler for that client.
If no Account Handler is assigned, the system will default to sending it from the user who created the policy.
Why Use It?
Keeps clients informed automatically
Reduces manual admin
Helps ensure renewals aren’t missed
Provides a professional, consistent touchpoint
