If the client that you are doing a proposal for has various vehicles/properties etc then you will be able to upload the whole lot from a spreadsheet onto the system.

The example we are going to use is cars on a commercial fleet insurance.

Under "2. Cover" on the proposal :

Click on the "Bulk Upload"

Click on "Download Template" and open it up

A blank spread sheet will appear. This is where you will add the information you have about the vehicles.

  • if you only have the registration plates then the system will automatically check on the DVLA database and fill in the other relevant details.

Once you have added the details onto the template, SAVE it and then drop it into the "Drop your CSV/Excel here" section.

When you have dropped the spreadsheet in, a green "Vehicles Added" will come up and then you will see the vehicles on the Add Vehicle section on the page:

Click "Add All"

The vehicles will then appear in a table:

  • if the vehicle information doesn't come through, click on the pencil Icon at the end of the row and this will bring up an option to get the information from the DVLA

Click on "Search DVLA" and the details will be filled in. Then press "Save"

All the details will then be produced in the table.

Once all the vehicles have been done, click "Continue"

The drivers can be uploaded in a similar way.

Continue to progress through the proposal.
